DJ Connection Tulsa a Blue Ribbon Business

DJ Connection Tulsa honored with a U.S. Chamber of Commerce Blue Ribbon Small Business Award.
The award was given in recognition of the company’s dedication to excellence in several categories.

“Winners of the Blue Ribbon Small Business Award represent the country’s finest business success stories,” said the U.S. Chamber’s President and CEO Thomas J. Donohue. “In today’s difficult business climate, it is especially important to highlight those companies that continue to excel. It is their dedication to strong business principles that will enable us to rebuild our nation’s economy.”

The Blue Ribbon Small Business Award, sponsored by Sam’s Club, was designed to honor businesses that demonstrate exemplary performance in a variety of selection criteria including financial growth, staff training and motivation, community involvement, customer service, and business planning.

Each of the 56 award winners from around the country will be honored at America’s Small Business Summit 2009, May 11–13, in Washington, D.C. The award is part of the U.S. Chamber’s America’s Small Business of the Year Award selection process. One Blue Ribbon Small Business will be selected from each of seven regions as a finalist for the 2009 America’s Small Business of the Year Award. The finalists will be announced on March 16.

“The Blue Ribbon Small Business award means more than just looking at the bottom line. This award is for businesses that are committed to supporting their employees, following best business practices, and improving their communities,” said Donohue. “DJ Connection Tulsa has made that commitment and we are proud to recognize their contributions.”
